Yes it does, vultures exploit the culture for profit. Joey helped write this nikka song and made profit off his number 1 hit.

He indirectly vultured the vulture :manny: Chess. Real hiphop still won in the end.

You're trying too hard. The only way to hurt a vulture is to prevent that vulture from eating at all. Period. Joey helped a vulture eat. Post Malone and other aspiring cac vultures benefit the most from this whole shyt. In fact, Joey joined in the eating like a vulture would

How does real hip hop win when supposed real hip hop acts are turning the genre into cac pop music?

You liked 21 savage on that track over Joey badass?

:weirdo:

21 Savage is a superior rapper to Joey Badass in every way. And it looks like everyone preferred 21 to Joey on that

I don't care for Rockstar at all. Not a terrible song but just meh

I actually rock with you but Stahp it.

There is not a single area where 21 savage is a better rapper than Joey badass. Not. A . Single. One.

Put these two in cypha and see which one will look like an amateur.

A cypher? What kinda struggle-1992 measuring stick are we using?

Breh, cyphers don't mean shyt. Underground heads get fooled over and over again by fast-rapping, tradition-posturing, zero imagination-and-personality having frauds. The number one thing that's important about a rapper is his/her voice. And being able to express that voice in an appealing way over a beat (flow). After that, it's having some sort of imagination in terms of beats you choose. And after that, having smart rhymes which are a 'nice to have'.

21 is vocally superior to Joey Badass and it's not even close. 21 chooses more interesting, smarter production than Joey Badass. 21 got better rhymes than Joey Badass. And I bet 21 could murder Joey in a cypher. Reminds me of when nikkas swore Lil B couldn't rap (when it was obvious as fukk that he could on some level) and then he started slaughtering Joe Budden and outdoing 'new gen spitters' in cyphers.

No sir, don't be mad I'm going over your head :sas2: Joey could have had nothing to do with the song and decided not to work with him but he decided to lend his pen and got a check for it. Meanwhile he continues to push real hiphop shyt with his own career and thus out vultured the vulture who will come and go. He used working with the vulture to get himself a check but continues to do real hiphop.

To be honest I should in fact blame you for not supporting Joey and real hiphop and supporting the bullshyt that you do. Every time I see you in these threads you co-sign dumb rappers and hipsters. So you are part of the blame and not Joey. Joey out vultured a vulture and you're just a hater.

Never! Joey would rap him under the table and he does a much better live show. 21 Savage's live show looks flabby and sick.

This song alone ethers 21's career

That's the example you pulled out on me

Joey actually has rhythm and can weave in and out of a beat. 21 just mumbles his way through songs . And unlike 21, Joey actually knows what a compound rhyme scheme is.

You still my man but the disparity in skill between these two isn't really debatable.

I think we both know which one sounds like an amateur between the 2.

Period!

Kid had a different cadence with each verse and every single one of them was in pocket.

:wow:

I was driving home from the bar 4(?) Years ago when I heard this for the first time and I remembered being shocked when they said he was only 17

yeah. Because it's actually decent writing. Writing so decent that Jadakiss, who was rightfully harsh on all other subpar bars, actually gave it more points.

Joey actually has rhythm and can weave in and out of a beat.

rapping fast is not rhythm nor is it weaving.

if 21 had no rhythm, why is it that when Joyner Lucas did freestyles over his beat (yeah, 21 helped make that Bank Account beat because he actually has a shred of imagination), he basically copied 21's flow but sped it up in true shytrapping fashion?

21 just mumbles his way through songs . And unlike 21, Joey actually knows what a compound rhyme scheme is.

Who cares? :what:

I've done a vocal breakdown once of 21 Savage on "No Advance". Vocals are the number one thing a rapper brings to the table. That's actual hip hop shyt. "Lyricism" and fast-rapping is the #1 go-to argument for whiteboys who don't understand that this hip hop shyt is about groove. Not saying you're in that boat, and I fux with you, but I'm just tired of hearing the 'lyricism' shyt. It's so fake and incorrect. Lyricism only matters AFTER you have the basic shyt down pat: great vocals, flow and production. And 21 destroys Joey Badass in all 3 categories. So even if Joey Badass was spitting Noam Chomsky (which he isn't), there's no way he can compare to 21. 21 is still superior.

there is no skill. Both are trash on this. 21 is duller than normal here and Joey Badass is doing the typical generic fast rap that appeals to generic backpackers.

What kind of question is this? He wrote it before revealing he penned the song.
The point of ghostwriting is so it's never revealed you wrote it. If you put it out that you are a writer on the song, it's no longer ghostwriting, now you are just a writer on the song.
