its amazing how badly you guys are underestimating the damage that fox news and the right can do to the dem nominee by calling them a socialist

the fact that they cant do that to biden will speak volumes in a general
This poll seems to suggest otherwise. The information that Bernie is a socialist has been out there for like a really long time now.

i dont know breh. economically, the dems dont have a hell of a lot to run on to the average american besides "im gonna tax you more, but trust us, you'll get healthcare that will work". i truly see a lot of americans getting cold feet about bernie or warren in 2020 at the ballot box, IF the economy is in the same shape it's in right now

yeah, no shyt. and the election isn't gonna be decided by the democratic primary voters :jaysnoop:

im just trying to shoot for some perspective :jayhub: frankly im not wrong about that shyt either. if you think the country is gonna 180 from trump in 2020 with this economy, as opposed to a gradual turn, you're fukking crazy.

You mean the “we out here giving farmers welfare, but they still losing the family farm.” Economy? Wait are we talking about “I have no savings, let me join this contest to get Burger King to pay my college debt off” economy?

Joe Biden is in my opinion the most likely to lose in the general cause he isn’t a unifying figure at all. Plus the Boris Bots/Republicans got decades of dirt on him like they did Hillary. We aren’t even in the primary and a ton of shyt is popping off

If the American people were smarter they would pay attention to Warren cause she is out here saying “I’m going to do X, Y, and Z” for people instead of Biden’s “let’s forget everything I did before, Obama” including his casual racist/sexist/creepiness history. I mean the motherfukker ran and lost the presidency how many times and in 2016 the one year he could have legit won it off of Obama he didn’t have the Heart to stand up against Hillary.

for the record i agree with the bolded, if he keeps up this stupid fukkin trade war he has a real chance of losing that part of the country. it's awful politics :heh:

as far as your second part, that's the reality of living in this country and democrats arent running on any policy to change it. warren isn't gonna actually forgive everyone's student loans, that's just never gonna happen

How many people are paying attention to the campaign yet? High poll numbers now is like scoring 10 points in garbage time in a basketball game, meaningless. The fact that the early adopters (aka us politic nerds) are at best ambivalent about Biden is a bad sign.

I don’t think he’s gonna get a pass with black people after the shyt he’s done goes mainstream.

Remember Trump and his Mexico will pay for the Wall? Even if that plan goes as bad it’s something people will vote for.

Primary. Though I think there is a real chance that come the general he is apt for his own “super predator” moment. Come primary season with 20 something candidates I expect Super PACS to be brutal.

What is crazy is the welfare requires the farmers to still plant the crop which means either 1) the trade war ends early and now farmers get double money, 2) the trade war last and farmers are required to plant (and pay) for crops they can’t sell just to get a welfare subsidy. It’s horrible policy. Better to let them keep the money they have and pay them for not growing like typical farm subsidies work.

Part of me thinks he’s trying to make 1) happened just so he can give all the farmers money and the crops..... but farms are leveraged to the hilt and they are going out of business now..... the whole this is fukking stupid.

so with all the overwhelming support hillary got in the 2016 primary, you think those same voters arent gonna support obama's loyal VP of 8 years? why would they vote for hillary but reject biden? they're roughly the same person :dead:

and as far as the general, anyone who stays home for biden, that just means you don't mind that trump is in office. which is fine :ehh: but i was under the impression that his presidency is terrible for everyone

2016 was a weak/shallow primary and Hillary had the DNC influencing things in her favor. I’ll always say the fact that they lowered the number of debates and scheduled them against Football and award shows was proof the game was fixed. They didn’t want people to see Bernie in general and how bad Hillary was as a debater, specifically. That was before the emails came out about how they gave Hillary the damn debate questions early.

Now the Dems have a deep pool of candidates, the DNC is actually going out it’s way to be fair. There is no guarantee Biden comes out on top. It could happen, but its not like the 2016 primary which was just pageantry for the Hillary Coronation.

Some of the shyt Biden did/said will lead people to be on that “fukk it” train. Especially young progressives. Dems need to learn that their candidate has to inspire people. Only Republicans can win based on loyalty.

This whole safe candidate logic is how we got Trump in the first place. Biden is another candidate with name recognition that looks good on paper until you look at the actual history that will cause issues with the Democratic base while chasing centrists voters that don't exist in major numbers.

The economy also looks good on paper but most people's wages are still low and they're struggling with various types of debt. The "good" economy isn't going to be a factor for most people to keep the status quo.

i agree that the economy isnt great for a lot of people if you want to take an all encompassing, cost of living approach. but if youre going by those metrics then theres zero compelling reason to vote democrat thinking it will change

i guess if warren can pay for enough shyt by taxing the rich :yeshrug:

:obamaswagger:I hope she taxes the fukk out of the Rich

and then uses it to build actual infrastructure :takedat:
if biden falters and looks :flabbynsick: in the debates then ill be voting for her

if biden is still the same guy who sonned the fukk outta paul ryan in the debates and his polling holds, i gotta go with him :yeshrug: he can sign the bills warren pushes
