Well is the culmination of the whole "Slaughterhouse is gonna sign to Shady...blow up...and then see it benefit their respective solo careers" saga?...these are pretty much the same numbers Buddens has been doing with his random internet releases over the years, no?

Just checked Padded Room did 13K first week...so he made some progress, if you don't account for the increased budget and promo that E1 gave him over Amalgam...an extra 10K albums or so...good job, good effort

Dude was on a major label at one point so all that indie talk is weak.

He's got a crazy internet following and is on primetime TV in front of millions more viewers than people who are signed to majors.

I'm not a fan but I'm not a hater. I hope he moves more than that because with those numbers he should be pressing up his own cd's and selling them, not getting pennies out of a dollar on each cd sold.

It's not a flop, and it doesn't matter... rappers like Budden have fan bases that come to shows, and most of them haven't BOUGHT a copy, they burn them. That is how the music industry works these days unless you are a top tier superstar who gets promoted to the moon.

He is and will always make his money doing a ton of small venues year round. He has a cult like following for shows...again, a lot of the fans that come to his shows won't necessarily buy his cd..they will support him by going to his concerts.

The video with Wayne just premiered yesterday on TV... Basically he did those numbers with just the single being played on the radio and little promotion... People expecting him to push 100K first week are delusional

This dude is on Vh1 Monday nights and has done various interview promoting it. This nikka got better promo than ALOT of artists on Majors.

Not sure what else he needed to do.

That's pretty damn goo....ain't he sell what slaughterhouse album sold by himself...sumhow he sold what Future sold first week who had one of the biggest songs in the country,2 club smashes actually.....only 20K less than Keef who. Ahhhhh no. Consequence dropped on good music with features and production from kanye west and only moved 7k first week. Consequence wouldnt break 1k if he dropped today.
