Joe budden basically been marketing himself as some real hip hop dude he's never been hot his whole career

ooBeen thumbing through the comments and i can almost see who has 2K ADHD when it comes to absorbing content with the immidiate gratification syndrome. On the strength of the thought proces alone behind some of Joe's bars, you have to respect what he did lyric wise.I think he could have done a better job at structuring the song because a good diss record does not have to be bars upon bars.I will say that Drake can ignore this record without too much of a problem to his credibility as a pop star. His ego will have something to say about that though and my guess is thats what Joe is counting on so he can keep the back and forth going.Dope song but too long in my opinion and not as good as his Ransom and Saigon records
This is what he does tho, he drops the first song which for the most part won't be that hard on them, but he'll put in just 2 or 3 personal shots...just enough to get them to respond then he'll hit em with the real diss where every other bar is going at their neck all while responding to the shyt they said on their track, "letter to Saigon" and "heart of the city" weren't vicious at all..."pain in his life" and "ransom note" were tho lol

u wrong bruh, Budden has worked with some major hip hop artists. from Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, Royce, Styles P, Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, the list could continue on. if you talking about being "mainstream" hot then yea, but that doesn't matter. he's a respected MC who could demolish rappers if he wanted to.

and 50 responded to ALL OF THEM.. whole damn UNIT went to beef with everyone

these new age pussies think they all above it :scust:

that's one thing i respect about 50, he never backed down from a rap battle. looking back it was actually entertaining when he started to go at people. i just didn't get when he did it to East Coast artists with the exception of Ja Rule cause that was personal.

Drake is comparable to the Fresh Prince now?!?!
I wouldn't compare them. Back when Will was the Fresh Prince he was a real MC. He didn't have no ghost writing team. He came up on the streets of West Philly and rose to prominence on the strength of his DJ, Jazzy Jeff who was one of the best DJs on the planet. And if you came at his neck back then, he would've responded cause you couldn't let shyt go in those times.

Drake been soft and phony out the gate. Will didn't become like that til he basically retired as the Fresh Prince and went to Hollywood. He got rich, got married, became a family man and lost touch with the modern rap world and turned to writers. It's a disservice to compare him to Drake.
