????????

in that clip?

he didn’t mention meth once

He’s talking about back in the day.

Allhiphop did a “Best Rappers” list and Method Man was placed higher than Joe (as he should be) and Joe bytched about. This led to a chain of events that ended with Raekwon and his Ice Water team duffing Budden in the eye while

We have to stop telling that lie

Go ahead and name one Crooked I song

Or Joell Ortiz

I'll wait

No point in being rappity rappity if you cant produce notable content
All Slaughterhouse really did was try to outperform each other on tracks. Joell and Crook were better at that than Joe. The way they were all flowing on the track that just came out is an area Joe isn't good at.

My bad - not in this clip, I meant back in the day. Then some goons slapped him up in a dressing room. Anyone remember that?

He makes mad good points about ownership ... and I was like "Eh fukk puffy" kind of ... until he explained that Puff is trying to middleman YOU a bag with his connections, and set you off on a path

I always knew he didnt hate EM ... but what he's saying makes sense too... Eminem runs his ship, his own way.... which is fine. But that makes sense that Budden wants to know, exactly what the budget is and how much the return is... not just an allowance and a role from Shady Records. Thats just smart business in 2020. No slight to either person at all.

The MJ and Prince thing had another meaning too. Because Joe speaks on how he has been a Prince fan, and Prince fought for his rights... Then "died" right as he got them... so negotiations at the starting line would cancel out alot of "mysterious" shyt from happening if you already go into a situation owning yourself. They cant seize control of you in any form if you already made the agreement that you are the sole beneficiary to your work. That was a very simple gem he just dropped really. He says it alot of the podcast too about how he's only moving for his brand and getting out of music because he's made more from podding basically than waiting for people to buy albums and tour. It was apparent when he was on Complex that he was chasing the bag elsewhere and then he took more money. But being 100% your own cash cow and owner while establishing your friends and brand is priceless.

The weakest member of slaughterhouse is no longer in the group.... I don't see what the problem is :yeshrug:
Weakest member as in outings on group tracks or solo efforts? Cuz when SH were doing that fast rappity rap, Joe struggled to keep up... when they were at steady tempos he held his own and his solo career is more memorable than Joell and Crooked

Most people off the internet can't name a Joe Budden song outside Pump It Up :yeshrug:

But that's besides the point

Only song anybody knows from Joe is Pump It Up, why would you try to clown about who knows who's songs? What notable content does Joe have? :russ:

Joe easily was the worst member. He was routinely getting washed on those Slaughterhouse tracks.

LOL, ya'll act like people don't bring up his Mood Muzik series.
