It's funny how Budden gets clowned for being this supposed one hit wonder that is only known for one song but I doubt that anybody that's not a hip hop head outside the internet knows a Joell and Crooked song (Royce has the Em connection so he's known to some degree).

I feel like you can replace any of the other members of slaughterhouse with other lyricists that can do the samethings Ortiz, Crooked and Royce does except for Joe.

Slaughterhouse should had just been a one off type deal. They was never gonna become a big selling group like Wu Tang because they're style wasn't appealing to the masses at the time.

Then Em and Peter comes in and tried to make them into D-12 2.O and it just didn't work. Joe was the only one that didn't sell out...he had foresight of what was going to happen.

Now look at where Joe is today compared to the rest of the group. Still gotta work and grind in they're 40s while Joe got the biggest rap/lifestyle podcast on Spotify and YouTube.

What's wrong with working and grinding in your 40s? Everyone will have to do that unless they have $2 million invested. Or they depend on others.

Joe is working too - his podcast.

Everyones responsible for where they are.

I agree with you about trying make d12 2.

I wish Em would have kept his energies invested in d12. But who knows what happened internally.

Word because, yunno, Royce's shytty ass attitude and ridiculous level of self-importance had NO BEARING on holding his career back....:mjlol:

BOTH them nikkas (Royce and Joe) EXTREMELY overvalue their worth and fail to take their own bullshyt dispositions into account when speaking on the "failures" of their careers.

Its not that it's bad or wrong, but no rapper wants to "have to" rap that late into their lives. Artists want to create on their time, not on a deadline.

Joe leaving the group was probably the best career move he could have made because he's doing better now than he ever was in music and probably than each individual member of SH.

Shady didn't really know how to market anyone but Eminem, thus they give everyone the Slim Shady/D12 roll out when its just not who they are. Em is a great artist but not very good on the business end

Joe seems like an a$$hole. Dude has never had a drama free week in his life.

Yeah and no, Joe had some great bars and was holding his own, but his delivery on that stage was trash

If I scored the rounds like a fight, I would have given Joe 10-9 rounds over Hollow for rd1 & 2 but the 3rd round was a 0-10 to Hollow because Joe quit.

But the crowd kept screaming over the bars and Joe got frustrated over it. Hollow won, no doubt but its not like Joe wasn't competitive or could have edged a decision had he not let his emotions get in the way.

I want to know why it seems like the other 3 don't mind being on Shady and Joe is the one that wants to leave? That guy has always thought he was more important than he is. Even now with his success as a gossiping fekket, he thinks he's Hip Hops Howard Stern. The guy is beyond annoying. Inalso can't understand why anyone would want to sign Slaughterhouse to begin with. 4 dudes who can't even combine to go gold with solo projects.
