Budden is as introspective as it gets. Speaks from the heart. It's weird, I've been bumping couple of other albums while waiting for this to drop. And while I'm listening to those albums, they have those certain "deep" songs, which feel like such when I'm listening to those albums.
But all those damn near seem shallow when listening to this... there's levels to this shyt. There's so-called "introspective artists" and then there is Budden.
No Slaughterhouse feature?
Hope it's better than his last shyt, I'm a big fan of Joe's but the last GREAT thing he did was MM4 and that was 6 years ago.
Broke the most radio friendly track but it still goes hard tho
Man if "Only Human" was saved for this project, the album would be 11/10 but that track still hard, been bumping that track steadily since SLL dropped
That Love Im Good record is something else tho
Budden might of moved up in my top 5
I do think this album doesn't have that "one" defining track.
Mm2 had dumb out
Mm3 had all of me
Mm4 had black cloud
Loose Quarter had "off 2 the races"
Some love lost had "different love and only human"
One run through with this album and i cant pinpoint that "one budden track" that i let my friends hear when all they know is pump it up.
But as a project this is bascailly flawless. Budden finally got the production to catch up with his lyrics
Maybe it's "where do we go"
