The French Montana song is what made Budden diss Drake in the first place. There was pieces of it floating around because French previewed it a while ago. Budden heard it, dissed Drake twice. The song actually comes out today, Budden disses him again.

The reason this is so hilarious is because Drake stans swore Budden was beneath him and he'd never diss him in a song. Song comes out, and the disses are there.

2 - They were huge releases because of the artists momentum leading into both projects. First week sales are before the music sets in or is even heard in most cases (see Forest Hills Drive) and thats even IF they weren't boosted by Birdman or Apple Music boosting for Drake (using Hotline Bling). Views is already low key old news and its been less than 3 months.

1. I'm not talking about No Shopping, I'm talking about Drake responding with new songs of his own when Budden was dissing him within that month.

2. The album is still being streamed heavily and being played at functions and social settings so I don't see how its old news. And Child's Play is about to get a video. If Views came and went so did everything else this year.
