2 - Sales don't equal quality (Carter 4 anyone?). Especially from the same label known to give 1 mil first week numbers to their top artists (Carter 4 anyone?).

1. Ok. They decide the roll out but Drake could have released a diss song in between in response to Wake and Making a Murderer.

2. Views and C4 aren't classics but they have plenty of dope songs between them. C4 in fact underrated. And both were huge releases in they respective years even if not their best works.

You really implying Joe Budden, out of all the rappers in the world, cares about being popular and creating hype for himself? (what "album" are you even talking about? There's nothing on his release timetable right now besides the Araab mixtape) This is a man who gives a middle finger to the industry everytime he tweets, podcasts, and drops songs where he raps for 8 minutes straight. This is a man still releases music non-stop after 20 years in the game even though supposedly nobody listens. Even if Budden was trying to create hype for himself, it's clearly working since he's been getting a lot of attention for these disses, and yes, even from the kids. 1 - "Could have" for personal reasons doesn't apply to business decisions. Its French's song, the roll out probably been in the works, "Drake could have" doesnt apply here, he doenst want another beat down from Diddy.

2 - They were huge releases because of the artists momentum leading into both projects. First week sales are before the music sets in or is even heard in most cases (see Forest Hills Drive) and thats even IF they weren't boosted by Birdman or Apple Music boosting for Drake (using Hotline Bling). Views is already low key old news and its been less than 3 months.
