You know how easily this issue is mitigated? They get tested, then quarantine at the border, then you bring them in. Bonus points if we vaccinate them whether we let them in or their asylum requests are denied so as to speed up the ending of this pandemic.

Republicans can do fine with 40-45% approval due to gerrymandering and electoral college advantage (and more reliable voters). Dems will get slaughtered with those numbers tho.
