You’re wildly delusional if you think the pandemic is mostly over, it’s not even winter yet. I know far more people that have died from delta than when the alpha variant was at it’s peak and winter will be much worse. Especially if the flu season is as bad as they’re predicting. My uncle went to the hospital with non-covid related pneumonia and they have to keep him in the emergency room bed because there are no normal beds left for him to occupy due to covid patients

He inherited a lot of nonsense, from an administration that stunk up The White House more than any other president in the history of the country. His first year is going to be about cleanup and righting wrong's that he's not even responsible for. Obama went through the same thing in '09. Legislation and policy are what it takes to improve those approval ratings. He's going to have to cover a lot of bases and also fix problems that were around before he was even elected. It takes time.
