That’s not a straw man. It’s criteria. Warren, Harris and Klobuchar are all former presidential candidates in this cycle. So that’s a general undeniable form of name recognition. Everyone after that group doesn’t really have a lot of name recognition except for Whitmer and that’s purely COVID-19 based.
Abrams has media appearances but again “big name” doesn’t qualify. If you say the others don’t then that further moves her down the scale. I don’t see how this is really a question.
That's a helluva straw man you created there. If that was the criteria, none of the candidates outside of Warren and Harris would be considered big names, yet...
But no Kamala for you?I got nap on ignore ,
But yep, Keisha would be a great pick. I’m going to keep saying it. This would provide a shot in the arm to the campaign
I don’t have a problem with Kamala, or even Amy .But no Kamala for you?
Then Biden should consider a guy.I don't think it's smart to remove a Democrat senator right now. Democrats need to be going seats and keeping them.
This is what @Atlrocafella was talking about with blue check and extremely online women. They are not the only black people in this country.Funny thing about Abrams is that Biden's camp came to her before he even entered the race and floated the VP job to her. She not only declined, she kinda criticized Biden
Joe Biden advisers debate Stacey Abrams as out-of-the-gate V.P. choice for 2020 run

Now that Biden is the nom, she's ready to serve lol. I get it. Everyone pops shots during the game, and when the game ends it's time to make up. I get that. I just don't think Abrams makes sense as VP. She has no experience in Washington and no executive experience from Georgia. So...what's the point outside of exciting the base.
My breh been listeningThis is what @Atlrocafella was talking about with blue check and extremely online women. They are not the only black people in this country.
Just some insight from her own words.
The conventionWhen does Biden need to announce his VP by? or when does the candidate normally announce their VP pick?
Stacey Abrams is NOT qualified to be Vice President or President and especially when you have a President that will be in his late 70s/early 80s.
She has NO statewide or federal governmental experience. She should have ran for one of the open Senate seats in Georgia or run again for Governor in 2022.
We can't have a VP that was just the "Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives". That just can't fly .
Too many Democrats get caught up in the hoopla sometimes. I love Stacey but she needs to at least get some statewide or federal governmental experience BEFORE making that leap.
