Yep, all of them were previously Senators before becoming VP (except HW Bush, Cheney & Pence). However, Cheney represented all of Wyoming in the House and Pence was a governor.

Biden is going to pick a Senator or Governor to be his VP. He's not going to pick a House member, Mayor or local politician like some people on here think.

nobody sitting on the fence is going to hop over with amy ( :gag::gag::gag:) or whitmer as VP. the people in mi/wi who vote biden are going to vote for him regardless. your pick has to reach those last bits of people who truly arent convinced about joey b (for whatever reason being that trump is the alternative)

I can't believe this didn't come to me naturally, but yeah, this is huge.

I still think it should be Warren or Kamala. One of those 2 or bust. I get the Kamala hate in the context of a democratic primary that includes Bernie and E. Warren, but otherwise, have people really deluded themselves into thinking Amy Klobuchar would be a better VP?

Stacy Abrams is a complete non-starter in a race in which the top of the ticket is going to be Joe Biden and focus will be on the VP. Not experienced enough and we haven't gotten to her personal life at all.
