He did promise he will pick a black woman for SC, so I will hold him to that.
But I know Biden and Democrats love civility and bipartisanship so if he is elected president he better not pick a moderate white male like Merrick Garland that Republicans will feel comfortable voting for.
Bernie also pledged to put a black woman on Supreme Court, I read somewhere from his convos with Jesse Jackson.
As one of the US Senators confirming the nomination, I'd imagine that's something both Joe and Bernie will be talking about in the coming months. But its moot if the US Senate doesn't flip.
