Look out for workers rights. Is the Biden Harris platform better for worker's rights than what we see under Trump Pence?

Crime Bill - - considering the Trump administration has overturned drug sentencing guidelines and expanded the use of private prisons immediately after taking over from the Obama/Biden administration I don't think anyone, specifically black people are falling for this whataboutism.

Biden just added Harris to his ticket who supports the legalization of Marijuana, sentencing reform, ending the use of private prison, and expunging the records of those sentenced under the previous guidelines.

You could go on, but changing your views over the course of 20 or 30 years doesn't make you a hypocrite. It makes you a functional adult unlike the current ape in office.

Maybe you should think about shifting your bad views and looking at it as a sign of growth and not hypocrisy.

I've been watching a lot of social media and mainstream media pundits reaction to Kamala's choice. It's more clear that Kamala has a shytload of excitement around her. I watched one video of some Indian/South Asian chick crying when she found out Kamala was the choice. She brings a diverse voting block to the table that's ultimately representative of the Democratic party.

The only other candidate who could have generated this kind of excitement was Warren, but you would run the risk of pissing off some black women and giving some independent voters a reason to pause.

Plus, you can imagine that Trump's team had a handbook ready to attack Susan Rice, Warren, Bass, and Big Gretch. They don't got shyt for Kamala that can stick because they'll just contradict their own messages. So now they're just going to throw all sorts of random shyt against the wall in a panic attack.

Biden doing this, plus putting a black woman on the Supreme Court, black women will be ready to cook up all sorts of shyt for Uncle Joe. No need to eat at the white house when you can go down the street and eat some soul food at Auntie Missy's House.

I think people are looking past the election because an incumbent POTUS being down 7 or 8 points nationally on average is unheard of in most of our lifetimes. And I think everyone is begging for someone, anyone... to govern. We've had change elections in 2008 and 2016... 2020 is another one. We've had a failure in governance for a long time.

People want a return to normal. People want to live their lives without thinking about the corruption going on in Congress because its not directly affecting them. They want to go back to the ignorance of it all. Its the gen z'ers to the gen y'ers that wants more of a change at this point. If they came out and voted with the same vigor they use social media, we'd have different candidates. Right now, the group with the largest voting power, wants normalcy.
