I just don't see it happening. I remember the discussion in 2016 being that Trump couldn't win, his polling is down etc. I feel like the same thing is playing out now. Dems feeling they can't lose. Now they don't even have to campaign. Its probably going to result in a much lower turn out.
So Biden and Harris is going to have a lower turnout running against a more hated Trump vs Clinton and Kaine in 2016? :russ:

This messaging is so shyt, no one can believe it. Its just like calling Joe a radical socialist.
Keep telling yourself that...

Better yet, go ask Hillary Clinton how that shyt strategy worked out against her...

And on the subject of calling Joe a racist, that's exactly what his VP implied he is on a nationally televised debate stage...:russ:

It's downright comical how easy this shyt is...

@ That TLR thread...
If you post in HL primarily its easy to forget how much better it is than the rest of the board.

They are just angry people on that section of the board. They get up angry and go to rep angry.

I don't think its far fetched. Biden and Harris are not that popular or charismatic.

Harris might even lose Biden some of his black vote

Hillary Clinton had 30 years of right wing anti-Clinton messaging targeted at her. Specifically. You’d be absolutely ignorant to compare her to Biden or Harris in terms of unfavorability among the American public.

Its very obvious that Trump hasn’t figured out how to frame Biden and he’s off the wrong foot on Harris too.

Breh Clinton was one of the most hated nominees of all time. Think about it, there’s no way in hell the turnout will be lower

I can't believe some of you are still acting like the VP is going to have a tangible effect on the outcome of this election. She won't. Even if there was a new scandal concerning her, highly unlikely at this point, they could just jettison her from the ticket. While it would reflect poorly on the vetting process, nobody would care the moment the replacement was selected.

If you don't like Harris, then hold it against her when she runs herself. Pray that someone of note has the fortitude to ruin her coronation (they don't). We have bigger concerns right now...
Her AG record is beyond terrible and should of been an automatic disqualification. But you can have that. That not even what I mad at.

For me it not really about this election. Trump fukked up the COVID response, plus we are in an economic downturn. Because of this it will be hard for him to win. Biden have ran a terrible campaign with a ton of gaffes and he is still leading Trump by a large margin because of covid and the economy.

The problem is this. I don’t think people are going to give Biden a honeymoon period. The Dems could lose control of the House in 2022 if Biden isn’t bold enough to enact major change. Biden’s record shows that it is highly unlikely that he will push for bold action. Is Kamala really the person that is going to push Biden to make the changes we need? She doesn’t strike my as someone who has any core beliefs besides her own personal ambitions, so I doubt it.

Also, we already knew that the VP choice is setup to be the nominee in 2024. A Republican can easy retake the Presidency. My fear is that we end up with a smarter Trump like figure. I’m not confident that Kamala can handle that type of challenge.

I know people just want Trump gone, but not thinking long term lead us to getting Trump in the first place. The next Trump like figure could be much more dangerous, because they are likely to be more competent.

Ok too all you motherfukkers who are shook because I brought up reparations.......

Fine, fukk it Fine.....

I need Kamala to come out with a stronger approach to the issue with black maternity death rates than..... we’ll try to teach doctors to not be racist in Med School.

I mean it. I will forego my arguments on why we need reparations, if she comes out and adopts the plan Warren had about holding hospitals accountable for each mother/child that dies during or near childbirth that wasn’t designated a high risk birth prior.

We already lived through an Obama administration. Representation is far from what is needed. I want to see legislation designed to improve the majority of black lives regardless if you went to a Ivy League school or not.
HERE YOU GO: Kamala Harris reintroducing bill to reduce maternal mortality rate among black women
