What doe a leftist do but excite folks on twitter who aren't voting anyway.
If you think dem nominees weren’t trying to pander to progressives during the primaries then idk what to tell u. :yeshrug: A progressive is 2nd in the poll btw. A weak one but she does claim to be progressive.

Mot really feeling most of the poll choices tbh.
He said he was picking a woman. Stacy abrams didn’t really have traction and doesn’t have much experience in govt. just Georgia state.

Wellstone died in 2002...

Sherrod is the only statewide Dem in Ohio, just won re-election in 2018, not a seat you can lose.

Stacey isn't ready for primetime and she's actually ideologically closer to Biden than you think

She's a terrible choice imo but she is still a 'progressive' and has a following. I would love for ppl that cosign her to give a legit case on why they think she would be a good VP though because I just dont understand the hype. At all.

Massachusetts didn't either.

I'm aware of Wellstone and examples of ppl with ideologies I would cosign. Disagree with you on Abrams. I would say her resume isnt far left but definitely more progressive then a lot of other dems. If we're keeping it real, there really isnt much here and there will be a weak ticket regardless but thats another converstation.

And why isnt Abrams 'ready'?

being a state rep and going to VP? I'm sorry but you gotta win a state wide office first or be in Congress IMO especially with Biden being so old

And Abrams from what I read was pretty pro-business as minority leader

Biden is already pretty good at foreign policy if anything he would need someone who can help with domestic policy.
Actually probably the other way around she’s a former national security advisor and UN Ambassador. Biden obviously knows foreign policy but she’s been in those specific roles. At worst she would understand exactly Biden would want to accomplish while needing no time to learn that aspect. Conversely Biden spent a large chunk of his time as a senator and VP on domestic affairs. He of course chaired the foreign relations committee. Point being he needs less help with domestic policy (outside of what a typical set of advisors gives) than you are giving him. Outside of Warren and her specific skill set he’s more experienced than all of the other choices.

TLDR at worst Rice’s background leads to a way for them to team together that’s just about equal to the other candidates but just in a different configuration.

Interesting. Wonder if this was intentional to see how this would be received.

Kamala just doesn't have a base. The left doesn't like her. The right thinks she's a BLM radical. She's isn't a moderate darling. Black people don't really fukk with her like that. Her biggest asset is that she would be a good attack dog for Biden, which may be what he needs.
