Why is so difficult for y’all to understand they are working on a pretty standard timeline:gucci:
Cause 2020 is different from 2016 and all those other years. Biden's only job right now is to look competent and on top of things. He just has to maintain goodwill. The longer he drags it out the more people are going to hate the pick closer to election day. If he had already picked, everybody would be over it by now.

People are going to have issues regardless. Moving the pick up (which procedurally likely has road blocks) serves no tangible benefit and opens the selection and pick up for additional scrutiny earlier than needed. It’s like a coach announcing the starter at the beginning of training camp. It just allows the other team to game plan more.

Y’all just anxious.

Naw man. They are taking too long. You just making stuff up and can't admit you're wrong. They should have been picked Kamala and got passed her black man hating verdicts already.

Please point me to what I’ve made up. Where I’m wrong? Announcing near the convention is standard. You can argue they shouldn’t but then you would then be making an argument based solely on your perspective with not a hint of historical perspective. If that’s how you want it to be fine but please don’t claim I’m making this up.

:mjtf: I was saying Kamala would be a choice of VP for Biden and/or Bernie
:comeon:

That aside. Are we really pretending people wouldn't be pontificating over whether a Biden Sanders ticket would unify the party if he weren't already excluded.

And while I agree with the age argument, I was routinely criticized on this board for calling it disqualifying. :mjtf:

Bernie is much more useful in the Senate. I think Hillary having him as VP in 2016 would have been more impactful. But considering where the 2 leading contenders in the Dem field are age wise and the fact Trump is an unpopular incumbent, the VP choice was always going to be someone younger.

Wow. Chris Dodd stunned by why Kamala went after Joe on busing. And she laughed it off.

Seems Joe is having trouble finding trust.

:camby:You can't just hop in correcting people like you you're some kind of political expert, then get mad when they don't mindlessly agree with you. Nobody was even talking to you.
Back to what I was saying:
I feel like Biden backed himself against the wall by wanting a black female candidate when the most exciting picks doesn't have enough experience yet. In my opinion, he's gonna pick Harris, but he really wishes somebody else would rise up. Also in my own opinion which I'm allowed to have, if he was going to make such an obvious choice, he could have been picked Warren and been done with it. She's not exciting, but she's the best "functional" pick.

I'm rooting for Tammy Duckworth, so I can use my she will never run from a fight line.
