Joe Biden selects Senator Kamala Harris as his VP Pick

Yeah, I'm starting to like Whitmer myself. Why is Kamala Harris so popular? Nobody outside of political boards talk about her, and she fails the "black woman buzz" test. Meaning, none of these black woman are raving about her like they do with Abrams.I don't think she moves the needle. I think Biden might have messed up by letting this be a long drawn out process, especially if he ends up picking Warren anyway.

for what it's worth, Warren isn't the wrong pick, but mofos are gonna be like when he picks her. Biden is damn near 100 and she's the most capable out of all those people to run the country in case the worse happens.

1. Like most of the discussion in here, saying Harris failing the black woman buzz test is pretty anecdotal. It’s a perception you have. Not saying it’s wrong but big picture it’s based on a fairly small sample size I imagine.
2. This hasn’t been a long drawn out process. It’s actually going to be shorter than most VP selection in recent memory.

Yes, this is a long drawn out process, especially since they are picking women and there were only a handful of qualified candidates. And out of that handful only a few have been in office long enough. Lowkey, they really want Michelle , and are looking for Michelle jr.

I imagine she gets some subset of voters of the fence just like all of the realistic name do/can.

Why a female? No idea but that’s the parameters he set.
