Kamala isn't the worst pick, but she's not bringing anyone in that Joe isn't bringing and she doesn't unify the party. Plus she has a likability problem, I think a lot of people don't view her as genuine. You also can't sleep on her prosecutor career, the left and BLM are going to keep bringing it up. In a way @Warren Moon is right, it's going to be hard to have had a career locking black men up all while married married to a white dude and now seek the support of black voters in a time when criminal justice is a hot issue.

That's why I say go with Karen Bass. Black, progressive, experienced, respected, unifies the party, no law enforcement baggage, serous criminal justice reform credentials, doesn't overshadow Biden, isn't polarizing, and doesn't have major enemies
I think we have to start looking at the tea leaves. It’s July 6 and he’s stuck to a Aug. 1ish announcement time frame. Bass doesn’t seem to be in the conversation on much of any front right now.

I just can’t support Kamala with a CAC husband for VP at this period and time. Same for Susan Rice. Maybe in 2024.

Women, especially black women will support Kamala in droves. Marrying a white guy doesn't matter to them

Trump fears Elizabeth Warren as evidenced by how he can’t keep her name out his mouth. I think that could be an indicator that she would be a good pick :russ:. He doesn’t seem to fear Kamala not that this matters but I find it interesting
You're right. He hasn't mentioned Kamala once

What are you basing this on, cuz I didnt see this is in real life at all. We need to stop assuming that black people will support candidates simply cuz they are black, Barack Obama was an exceptional human even though I dont agree with everything he did politically.

Let's not forget that Liz is polling best among EVERY demographic.

She’s polling well but look at the clock. She’s been pretty quiet. Optics wise they can’t let the conversation be “woman of color” for this long, have every other candidate be in that demo and then pull Warren out this late. That’s just a bad look. Window is pretty much closed on Warren.
