This may sound stupid but the last few presidential tickets have atleast one letter of the presidential candidates last name be the first letter of the vice presidential candidates last name. They actually sound good together:ehh:

Obama-Biden, Romney-Ryan,Trump-Pence, Clinton-Kaine(close enough), Biden-Demings

He said they wouldn't announce for awhile before the racial climate so no that's not a good conclusion.
That and it’s like announcing your lineup before a game if you don’t have to by league rules. No need to tip your hand and things change.

Uncertain grounds
I'm not sure either polarize any meaningful part of the base. Both upset extreme Bernie stans, but they don't matter. I could see both turning off some independents and other voters though, sure. But 99% of people don't vote based on the VP unless the choice suggests something bad about the presidential candidate (see: McCain's poor judgement on picking Palin).

The only thing I could kinda imagine is maybe some older white voters not feeling Biden having a black VP, given the implication that it will likely lead to another black president. But that's not going to swing an election.

Vast majority dont vote on VP in normal circumstances. Bidens age changes this from a normal circumstance. I've heard it from multiple voters. They want a VP they are comfortable with. The concern that Biden is on the decline, may not run for re-election or even finish his first term is definitely out there. Add in the voters like @Atlrocafella who dont want someone "too left" like Warren and the voters who are the opposite and want a voice from the left to influence Biden...those factors result in the VP selection being more important than usual.

The fact that we're in this racial climate and he hasn't picked a black woman yet let's you know who it's going to be. I understand the convention and all that but with all the racial shyt going on now would of been the time to pick a black woman. It's clearly #WarrenG

I wouldn't put much stock into that.

So much for Liz Warren bringing more voters to the table:mjgrin:

White voters find this Democrat least acceptable as a Biden VP pick: poll

While 38 percent of Democrats overall found Warren an “acceptable” choice and 27 percent were "excited" about the idea, 19 percent found her to be a “not acceptable” choice, the highest negative rating of any of the 11 candidates listed.

The negative views rose among white voters. The USA Today/Suffolk University poll showed 23 percent of white voters found Warren to be a “not acceptable” choice, while that number was 19 percent among Hispanic voters and 13 percent among black voters.

Warren was an “exciting” choice to 33 percent of white Democrats and 15 percent of black voters.

She brings nothing to the table, absolutely nothing :hhh:
