Eh this is a unique election. I dont thinking picking Bass over Kamala, for example, would really effect net turnout much if at all. Some might turn out for biden that wouldnt have before because they dont like Kamala

I think this is a big qualifier for the Biden camp, which probably gives Warren/Harris the advantage.
Biden is picking one of the women who have national profiles and have won statewide.

I'm getting about tired of black talking heads on TV pretending they speak for all blacks by demanding a black female VP. There were already two blacks - Kamala and Booker - in the presidential race who didn't get support from the black community. If you want to know what black people "want" just look at the polls and stop asking Joy Reid and random black political commentators with agendas.
The polls have been leaning heavily towards pragmatism not tokenism. The polls have been leaning towards whoever will get us the win over Trump.
Now me, personally? I'd love Warren to be the VP. I think she could be one of the most effective VPs since Cheney in getting actually policy thru. And we definitely need some effective progressive policy to get things like police reform, health care reform, immigration reform, etc. actually happening. I look at her track record with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and her ability to break down and communicate progressive policy, and I'm a fan. I think a black female VP would, like Obama, be hamstrung in her ability to get significant progressive policy thru. And we definitely need someone doing that cause we all know Joe Biden is basically a conservative.

But Kamala is a cop too but what Val don’t have is how Kamala keeps her foot on old cacs neck especially in congress which baffles me to no end because she’s married to a cac yet she takes them to the cleaners every trip
