If he's simply a transition from Trump to the next person, I find it hard to believe that people like Newsom, Cuomo, etc would take a back seat for Kamala. Especially after how she flamed out herself this time. I think people would realize that Biden pigeonholed himself into picking a woman, which is how she wouldve ended up VP.

Cuomo is not running for president and if he did, he wouldn't go anywhere. He wouldn't even win the NY primary. Newsom literally endorsed Kamala for President (before she dropped out).

She should be taking this time to be out there marching with BLM. The word is they not wanting her on the ticket. but to be honest the fact she was a police chief and has black sons will show she has both perspectives and could push policies beneficial to people most vulnerable to police brutality. People may attack her record as chief but I can just imagine what she had to go through being the first black woman in that position. She probably had to walk on eggshells and not go to hard for progressive policies. Just my opinion.

I agree that Gavin Newsom should be a serious candidate for 2024. He's been a progressive figure since he was the mayor of SF.
