Atlanta metro is 5,949,951, would make it the 20th most populous state ahead of Wisconsin at 5,822,434, inside the perimeter is just under 1 million ppl, which would put it at the 46th largest state.
To counter you said Atlanta as a City was bigger than most states which is wildly inaccurate.

The number you are using for Metro Atlanta Atlanta is based on census data that includes a large number of counties that nobody outside of that statical metric consider Metro Atlanta. That is generally recognized as:
Fulton,
DeKalb
Gwinnett
Cobb
Clayton,
Coweta,
Douglas,
Fayette
Henry

The larger point is that regardless of the number the Mayor of Atlanta runs a city within a country of those 9. So we can’t over reach on her sway over “Metro Atlanta” regardless of the metric used.

I said some, not most for Atlanta as a city, very different. Most was for the Metro.
It's complicated IMO because while she doesn't have sway over all of the residential areas in metro Atlanta, her jurisdiction still has the lion's share of the businesses, restaurants, and other amenities for people in the entire metro.

“Some” is not even accurate. The city population is estimated at 500K, Montana is double that for reference. Delaware is double that for reference. Lowest is Wyoming and they still have more.

She has the share of large corporations and it’s the capital city but the root is how does that help turn Georgia blue and the reach just isn’t there.

I'm not talking reach I'm talking managerial competence. I would rather have the mayor of Atlanta , overseeing facilities for millions of people, and the busiest airport in the world than the governor of Vermont or Wyoming.

I don't think she should be anywhere near the vice presidency at this point for multiple reasons. But I'd rather have her than John Carney.

keisha's probably the next governor of georgia :ehh: and from there she's in the national convo

i dont see it this year tho :yeshrug: seems forced

She's prob gonna end up like Kasim Reed unless Stacey loses the next race for Governor (has to be eyeing the rematch with Kemp since she turned down a shot at two races for GA Senate) and she runs the election after.

Trump is doing everything he can to make sure the black and youth turnout is high.

The VP pick should be someone who is competent and we believe can handle the job of POTUS and win an election.

I think if Biden picks Harris, Warren, or Demmings, Trump/Pence are in serious trouble.

CNN interviewing nikkas mad at KLB showing up unannounced at a rally today and apparently not doing shyt

she been looking funny in the light to me since she condescendingly lectured protesters at the start and then was low energy and somber when it was released the atl cops was beating on people

she aint the one

its either warren or harris
I moved her up thr power rankings but it's up to her how she responds and comes out of the protests. If she flubs it, Warren is the best pick, followed by Kamala.:unimpressed:

Also Elizabeth Warren is bringing in more voters than a Kamala pick would bring. Anyone voting for Biden/Kamala was already going to vote for Biden regardless of his VP. Warren brings in progressive voters who were on the fence of either staying home or voting for Biden.
I think (just my 0.02) that her energy level combined with her reform platform could help with the youth vote. She’s got that kind of cool aunt vibe.

That’s just pure optics. She’s got overall flaws like the rest so........
