People know a lot of people that doesn’t make them a Viable VP candidate.Speaking of weak arguments
Low level how? People know her nationwide. Especially Dems.
Yes, people like her. People don't fukk with Klobuchar. Kamala already got dragged and her record in this atmosphere is a non-starter. Same with Klob.
What people like Yates? Who know Yates? Abrams has more of a national profile of than Yates. And Yates has never won a nation or state race either.
Your distaste for Abrams is your own business. But don't that project that into nonsensical arguments.
But it is impressive that she only lost her governor’s race by 1.4 percent with Kemp using every voter suppression tactic that there is. If her opponent wasn’t able to create the voting rules she would be governor now. With that said I really wish she would of ran for senate instead of trying to become VP.Her national profile is overstated. She’s essentially done a state of the union response and done interviews. There isn’t a lot there also that’s very much based on people who are committed to cable news. 97% of the black female vote here isn’t really an accomplishment.
It is but almost isn’t an accomplishment. Like “almost was governor” is not a resume bullet point. At the end of the day her story would have to be told because she’s not truly nationally known outside of the political bubble. To that point you can’t spend resources trying to tell voters well she almost won but the other dude cheated. But it is impressive that she only lost her governor’s race by 1.4 percent with Kemp using every voter suppression tactic that there is. My bad I was trying to reply to post that mentioned how Warren treated her black campaign staff.
Biden's strength in the South would probably shore up that weakness.Polling shows Kamala does just fine with Midwestern black folk
Struggles more so in the south
She’s catching flack locally for her response. None of the candidates are full proof. As well as she has generally done what is her foothold to run on. She came across as passionate during a tough period? Just purely support of Biden? My new power ranking:
1. Elizabeth Warren
2. Keisha Lance Bottoms
Amy, Kamala, and Val are just too risky given their prosecutorial/law enforcement history.
Right now I think Warren is the safest pick. She makes up for Biden's weakness with progressives and the mood of this country is shifting to the left. But Keisha Lance Bottoms has been killing it . During these protests she's slowly becoming the face of leadership, and I think most Americans can identify with her viewpoint that justice should be served, but that destruction and chaos is not the way. She's young, can maximize black turnout and might be the boost of energy that Biden needs, especially being mayor of a black mecca. We also need to take into consideration that she's in a deep red state, so the chances of her ever becoming a senator or governor are slim, so her being a mayor shouldn't be a reason to stifle her starpower. Her biggest flaw is that no one really knew her until this year, and most people still don't really know her, which can sometimes be a good thing because then she's a blank canvas with no baggage.
Interesting that Klobuchar jumped out with the news of the additional charges.
Jumped out before the Minnesota AG was suppose to announce it. She did this on purpose to salvage her VP chances. That ain't changing anything. She done for.Interesting that Klobuchar jumped out with the news of the additional charges.
Likely just made it worseJumped out before the Minnesota AG was suppose to announce it. She did this on purpose to salvage her VP chances. That ain't changing anything. She done for.
