which is the entire point.

you can create a dynamic black candidate from scratch.

If Val is chosen and charms black ppl and other ppl in the democratic base, by saying and doing certain things.

who’s to say that’s not how she genuinely is or what she genuinely thinks.

Val is actually why I stepped into this thread. Been hearing her name a lot and really don't know much about her.

A vice president usually tries to cover a presidents weaknesses electability wise.
Biden's entire campaign was resuscitated and powered forward by the black vote. The black community is his strength, not his weakness, so why would he need to go with a VP that appeals to the black community?

His actual weakness is youth vote and progressives...wonder which VP choice would do best amongst those groups? :jbhmm:

its all a numbers game now

is it worth it to go from 90% black vote to 96% black vote

or 75% youth and progressive to 90% youth and progressive :jbhmm:

I tried to tell y’all Amy was a terrible pick and was given a pass for her record because she wasn’t a major candidate. I’m once again telling y’all Kamala is not a good pick. She will provide an Initial boost then people will start to zero in on her record. It is not the time to pick someone like her. Also, y’all might not like it but the fact that she have a white husband is a major negative. Especially since she is only half Black. I highly doubt she would provide a major boost with Black voters.

Biden might be boxed in at this point. IMO he have to pick a Black women as VP. Out of all the realistic options (not the ones I would want) I think KLB have the most potential to boost Black turnout.

Michelle Obama is not a realistic option. She repeatedly stated that she have no interest in politics. Plus why would she be the VP when she could of won the nomination outright if she wanted?

So did Stacy Abrams. But she was super hyped when she thought Biden was gonna pick her as VP. And given all this bullshyt going on right now, she's more inclined to change her mind.
