Didn't say it was a guaranteed loss but evidence has suggested it hasn't worked and with the way female candidates have been fairing lately I don't think it's a stretch to say the country has a subset of people who don't want to see a woman in that high of an office and will make decisions to prevent it. They might be sexist but I am not..................
Having a woman VP candidate would have barely any effect on anyone's vote. C'mon breh just stop it. Hillary won the popular vote by almost 3 million more votes over Trump.

You trolling? Trump nearly won 30% of the Latino vote.
So did Romney lol.

Romney got 27% of the Latino vote. Trump got 28%. Basically no difference.

So Palin didn't impact McCain's run?

Nobody was going to beat Reagan in '84. Mondale choosing Ferraro as his VP is not why he lost. Even if FDR was resurrected, he would have lost to Reagan in 1984 :heh:.

The Recession and the one-in-a-lifetime candidacy of Barack Obama is why the McCain-Palin ticket lost in 2008. Furthermore, Sarah Palin was/is dumber than a rock :pachaha:.

There's no evidence to suggest that having a women on the ticket means a guaranteed lost. That's just nonsense. Also, dare I say...SEXIST :manny:.
Well it’s the only evidence we have.

I just wonder. If black people, clearly, kept Biden in the race. And allowed him to the primary frontrunner. Wouldn't the VP be a black person? Isn't that the least Biden could do? Especially if he's only gonna do 1 term?

EDIT: If I have to pick from that list, it would be Sally Yates. Her dismantling of Cruz was :gladbron: and :banderas:.

That's not what I asked. She had impact in firing up both sides of the equation. It has an impact, silly to thing it won't in some form.
If Sarah Palin had an impact on John McCain's loss in '08, it was more due to the fact that she was a moron and unqualified to be vice president (much less the POTUS) and less to do with the fact that she was a woman.

Of course, there are still some people that are uncomfortable with a woman being the President/Vice President but it's not that big of a impact on the actual vote. There were more people unconformable with the fact that Obama was Black/Biracial and yet he still was elected President.

Ayanna Presley would be lit as a vp. The most moderate of the squad but a clear progressive , close to Warren and Hillary, a black woman, and a house member so her seat isn’t vital.

Exactly. Also, he owes his entire candidacy to a Black man (President Obama).

If Biden wasn't Obama's VP for 8 years, he wouldn't even be in the consideration to be POTUS right now. Most Black people wouldn't give a damn about him.

The least he could do is pick a Black person, especially a Black WOMAN (the most loyal voters to the Democratic Party) to be his VP.

She's way too inexperienced to be VP (and potentially the President).

That's not how it works. VP pick should bring an element that you are currently lacking (Pence brought evangelical and Midwestern support to Trump, Biden brought white moderates to Obama, etc.) , Biden doesn't lack the black vote. Black voters gave all their political chips away to Biden so he has no incentive to choose a black VP. If anything, he's more likely to choose a Latino VP.

It doesn't. You have no factual basis for your statement.

There's a lot of people that think like you: "I'm ready for a female president but the rest of America isn't".

That mindset is exactly why none of the female candidates on the Democratic side did well except for maybe Warren & Klobuchar but of course, they just dropped out.

Stop thinking that way. If Malawi & Nepal can elect a female president then why the fukk can't America? Unless, you believe that Malawi & Nepal are less sexist countries than America.
