i mean, do black voters actually like kamala harris or not?

i cant tell at all, and reading the coli doesnt help :dead:

personally i think shes a good pick
Its a mixed bag, Joe Biden would beat her head to head...That's not a good thing for any black politician...

The problem with Copmala is she gives off that fugazee Hillary vibe and her record as DA is appalling...

I said it before and Ill say it again, expecting us to vote a ticket of the architect of the crime bill and the wench that enforced it is asking for too much without reparations on the table...

The only thing she does well is shyt on Trump and that's not enough...Tulsi derailed her train a long time ago...It would be a big mistake for Biden to choose Copmala...

Kamala increases minority turnout. Black people see a well qualified black woman who could potentially be the next president and be more likely to come out in November.

it seems like biden has 3 angles here, and they're all viable but they all have issues. imo it has to be a governor or a senator, given biden's age

-kamala; from a useless state electorally, but best for minority turnout. i like how she carries herself too, it's easy to see her assuming the presidency if something happens to biden
-amy; i like where she's from, and who she appeals to electoral college-wise, but she sucks overall. then again, she did kinda hang around in the election and she's well suited for a #2 role
-warren; appeals to progressives...but progressives were for bernie at the end of the day, not warren. 99% of her fans don't exist

my guess has been that it comes down to kamala or amy. if black voters like kamala, then i think she's the best choice

And I agree with pairing Kamala up with Michelle. They should be seen as damn near sisters on the campaign trail. That plus Joe Biden and Barack paired up like brothers, Trump's finished. :ehh:

But she didn’t really hang around. She dropped out before her home state primary. That’s wildly weak. Her visibility is purely product of of no big names in the contest that were traditional Democrat stallworths. Same thing with Pete.

Black people would change their tune on Kamala if she got the nom. She'd be in line to be the second black president, and the first female president. That would excite people. To Obama/Michelle levels? Of course not. But Biden doesn't even need that level to win.

I'm at a point where I've come to the conclusion that Warren is the best shot. That would excite younger voters and get them in line.

I can see people excited for Warren. She’s folksy and has a personality.

Amy? Nah

Has to be Kamala. I didn't even think of her and Michelle Obama. And I should have.

It's an establishment dem ticket with racial diversity and age disparity, the only thing it doesn't get is the "progressive" vote, but who would they even engage with, and is that vote worth pursuing, when Bernie could barely compete in the primaries?

Personal opinion is that the sub-group that doesn’t was less motivated in general regardless of VP choice. That doesn’t make their opinion wrong but I think they would be unhappy to some extent regardless.

I’ve said this before but if Harris is the nominee you pair her with Michelle multiple times and she’s immediately put over.

ive been anticipating the return of the biden/obama appearances, but i didnt even think of michelle/kamala doing a tour or something

thats just enormous campaign potential :wow: what a perfect way to utilize michelle's star power, to have her teaming up with kamala. thats gotta be the ticket

The same way Hillary magically excited all the people who didn’t like her?

In what world are Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren comparable? Younger democrats and liberals actually like Warren. If the goal is to shore up the base then surely she's a major contender for the job.
Warren doesn’t have nearly the scar tissue with the right and left like HRC.

I’m talking about Kamala
