The fact that you don’t see being a prosecutor as a negative given the criminal justice climate speaks volumes.
Speaks volumes about what? LOL, you think I don't know that America's criminal justice system is messed up.

I don't understand your point. If being a prosecutor disqualifies her from being VP then practically all of the VP candidates are disqualified.

He loves Kamala and thats fine. Just dont hold your breath
Criticism of Kamala is fine. He made an incorrect statement and I asked for sources.

Then he changed the subject. I've said this before, people don't have to like Kamala but many of the arguments I've seen against her is either false or exaggerated :manny:.

Kamala has flip-flopped on some things and she has a few questionable things in her record (practically every prosecutor does). However, I don't view her as the Black female version of Bull Connor like many super progressives like yourself view her as :manny:.

BTW, I identify as a progressive but not a Bernie Sanders progressive. I'm an Elizabeth Warren style progressive :manny:

Let's just talk about her on the national stage then. Were you impressed by her presidential run? When Tulsi laid into her at the debate did she fight back respectably? Did you like her call to get Trump banned from Twitter that Warren crapped all over? Her overall demeanor on the campaign trail how would you describe it?
She's just not an impressive politician and definitely not going to aspire many to get to the polls IMO. :manny:

If you feel that way about her then fine. I disagree.

She's actually been a fairly progressive senator and talked about issues regarding Black people that don't get enough attention. People can feel otherwise, cool :manny:.

She was a favorite to win the nomination and didn't even make it to the first primary. Like her or not she isn't effective on the national stage. We trying to win aren't we?

Throughout (and after) her campaign, Kamala Harris was reduced to an unscrupulous panderer that embodies the caricature of Politician. Perhaps it was due to ADOS yearning for representation, that she dominated the waves. Yet, as much as her machine tried pushing her the more repulsive her character was. Dead-ass would never even bother going out to vote if she was nominated. Thankfully I am in a position where I don't need to make that choice. If this was purely about observing policies I figured Warren would've been the obvious choice. Genuinely surprised when I saw the one to break Kamala vs Warren tie breaker.

Kamala's failed campaign really didn't have to do with her. Black voters felt they needed to choose an old, white male moderate for the top of the ticket in order to beat Trump. Anyone that wasn't an old white male moderate was not going to win the primary. If it wasnt Biden, it would have been Mike Bloomberg. Plus anyone upset about her prosecutorial career probably isn't a fan of Biden anyways so putting her on the ticket wouldn't harm his chances of winning.

Gay guys, other women, socialists faired better than her when she was a front runner. Her campaign was not good I don't think it had much to do with demographics.

Pete Buttigieg did well in two small overwhelmingly White states with very liberal Democratic caucus/primary voters (Iowa & New Hampshire) Big deal. His campaign was doomed after that:mjlol:.

The only female candidate that did decent (especially compared to expectations) was Klobuchar. Even still, she wasn't going anywhere :mjlol:.

Bernie Sanders was the only "socialist" running and he was the runner up in 2016 and has wide name recognition, so comparing him to Kamala is stupid :mjlol:.

Kamala didn't do well because of staff problems and Black voters choosing the "safe" choice of Biden.

They all made it to the primary. So did Warren and Gabbard. Kamala didn't. :francis:
You got a lot of excuses for her but I'm results oriented and using that she was a horrible candidate. :manny:

It's important Joe Biden to pick a running mate who will carry his agenda forward if something happens to him.

I'd hate to have an Andrew Johnson scenario on our hands.

If it hasn't already been said 1000 times, picking Warren or Harris are surefire ways to lose the election. Klobuchar gives the best chance for independents and even some Repubs to go Dem.
a biden/klobuchar ticket doesnt come off as phony or pandering to me :yeshrug:

when she gave that concession/endorsement i was like :ehh: i can see this ticket. she'll just play her role and fly around the midwest campaigning to the kind of voters the democrats need to flip. all things considered, it might be the best play

biden is gonna have every progressive in america campaigning for him to get this fukkin clown outta office, his VP should be more of a complement to his ticket than making their own headlines
