Your post is one of the better ones I've read on the subject though and you are right a lot of people have not seen the ugly side of the black/ latino relationship, thing is one side forgets there is TWO sides to that relationship

They did it to themselves. They are refusing to have babies. Blacks who have not experienced the immigration numbers of Asians and Latinos in the past 40 years have but still experience percentage increases in every Census while whites keep decreasing in percentage. Blacks also have an unknown number of black Latinos amongst the Latino population. Many of them by the 2nd generation will view themselves more as being black Americans of Latino decent.
On the other hand, whites losing the population battle can backfire. Historically, when they feel threatened by numbers, they become more ruthless to holding their top position. This population fear is what led to Apartheid in South Africa, Jim Crow laws, and segregation. The newest example of this is Arizona's immigration law. They will find a way to strip you of the power your numbers provide. Its the reason why some of the places in America where whites are the most racists tends be in places like the Deep South which has a huge black population. Imagine how many blacks were in the Deep South before the Great Migration to the Midwest, East and West Coast.

Mexican gang members targeting black gang members sounds like a unlikely scenario But in all honesty ,gangs gonna do what they do, innocent people get hit in the process, take the news story spin it around like Mexicans are targeting blacks and guess what's going to happen?? more young black and Mexican men are going to go to jail and kill each other etc and the cycle continues. Who wins at the end? What race benefits the most, whites. A good thought @Marvel dropped, and something I've always wanted to see happen but both communities have too many internal struggles happening to even start to think about joining forces, that and the fact that whites would rather nuke this country first

Yea, the United States is like a beacon of racial harmony compared to Latin America. I'm being dead honest too.
All you have to do is look at California which experienced a huge wave of immigration from Latin America and Asia and is now a minority majority state
There is not a shred of evidence that Latin and Asian immigration has helped black people or that California is more welcoming to blacks, if you stretch it the most you can say is that it's neutral, but as any black California will tell you there isn't anything to celebrate, from black people being displaced, increased racial discrimination by Asians and Latinos, to la and Oakland NOT having black mayors etc
Granted I'm not saying things are bad for black people in ca but there hasn't been anything to celebrate, except maybe seeing a lot of white people pissed off, but the notion that a Latino country is something to be celebrating and pushing for just shows how black people have a very defensive economic and political plan based on the idea that only white people are racist or that black people have no plan at all and are letting the Democratic Party make their plan

I'm from socal born and raised.
in the early 90s we had the numbers over them and it was generally peaceful. you had some bullying but also they were welcomed into the neighborhood just like ricans in nyc (they were there at the start of hiphop) by the late 90s and early 00s it just shifted dramatically. places that were 75/25 became 30/70 in a decade. I watched it all go down with my own eyes.
It starts off a bit like the Jews in Israel. they move in lay low while slowly increasing their numbers. once they have enough they hire ONLY each other and give housing preferably to themselves. I remember seeing ads 'Spanish friendly' pretty much meant you were going into a complex with majority Hispanics and the manager was going to trash your app.
Racism starts to kick in when the number tilt. you start hearing mayate more often, you start hearing about racist brothers and fathers when dating. usually the mentality is brought from their parent from Mexico as Latin America has issues. second gen that grow up around blacks are almost never racist but its the ones that came after the shift in numbers that tend to have extreme tribalism. I've dated loads and I means LOADS of latinas and every single one has told me that their previous ex has asked if they dated a black man or if one good looking one passes them by they grip them tighter and make a sure to check them. there's a lot of machismo in the culture and 6'2 tyrone is subconscious threat. when is the last time you asked a black woman if she's dated latino ? Black peoples biggest threat are black people. its like putting a pack of alphas in one cage. its a disaster. one of the reasons we can never have a strong structured criminal organization (name one as organized as the mexican mafia or AB present day not pastance ill wait)
On a different note. socal has seen whites and blacks come closer. since blacks can't get jobs and apts in their old hood they aim for the burbs. Black people need fire under their ass before they get up and push weight. the influx and income increase with socal blacks is a direct response to the blue collar lower paying jobs getting stripped.
The rest of the country see socal nikkas as nerdy or more formal...but really we just dropped the bloods and crip let it go to the cholos and moved to the burbs with the whites. crazy how we went from nwa to odd future. I'm actually glad our neighborhoods are associated with burbs and instead of guns our youth skateboard.
There's still places like watts that's hanging in but give it a decade.....
