Stop over simplifying the branches of government. A president is NOT A KING. I ain't a Biden stan, but I know a president cannot just make up rules outside of executive orders. Its the Conservative Supreme court appointed by Trump is doing all that damage in 2023. Not Biden's judges.
and the MAGA retard GOP members are self-destructing on their own outside of the federal courts.
Biden said "I am going to do XY and Z because Republicans have been my friends for fifty years and they'll work with me."
And then that didn't happen. And now his street team is saying "Well you just have to vote for him again, he'll certainly be able to do all those things in his next term!"
How many times are you going to fall for the exact same ploy?
And don't give me shyt about not voting. I vote in local and state elections where my vote might actually make a difference. I don't live in a state where my vote for President will matter at all. You don't have to worry about that. I can assure you, my state will certainly be giving its Electoral College delegates to whoever the Democrat is. I am not telling anyone not to vote. I'm tired of non-voters being blamed for the Democratic party's inability or unwillingness to do things they promised they'd easily and quickly do. (and that their big money donors DO NOT want them to do, what a fukking coincidence) C'mon, man.
Consider this. Candidate Obama said "If I am elected President, I'm going to sign legislation that solidifies Roe v. Wade into law, first thing as soon as I'm in office, if we have the votes in Congress."
And then he got elected President. And the Democrats had the votes in Congress. They had the votes. Don't listen to the nerds' excuses, they had enough votes.
And then... they didn't do it. They chose not to do it. They said they were going to do it, they chose not to. And when he was asked about this publicly, President Obama said, "Well,
that is not a legislative priority."
Then later they lost a couple seats in Congress and said, "Oh! Look at that! Now we
can't do it. A real shame. Vote for us in the next election, it's the uh... most important election of our lives. Donate money, too."
It's like the bar scene in A Bronx Tale. "I asked you gentlemen to leave. Well.... Now you'se can't leave."
"We said we were going to legislate. Well... Now we's can't legislate." And then ten obese Italians burst out of the back room with baseball bats screaming "DONATE TO ACTBLUE, YOU SON OF A bytch! AND LEAVE A TIP FOR THEIR HARDWORKING STAFF, YOU COCK SUCKA!"
