People still have traumatic memories of 2016 and they regret not participating voting wise. Tell that to them first.
What you fail to understand is, we were always gonna be here after our first 'black' president. Whenever we make 'gains', symbolic or otherwise, white folks revolt.

He not only left us naked, with no addl legal protections, but he decided to play softball with his Supreme Court picks (which, if they were so important, Mr Constitutional Scholar should have been all over), he then had the nerve to scold us for not doing enough.
This is what I meant by disrespect and the pitch no longer being effective. We never see positive results from electing Dems, but we're the direct target of the negative results of electing Reps. Six in one hand, half a dozen in another.
