We are about to hit spring/summer travel season.Pretty lackluster jobs report because these sectors can't sustain job growth. Once the tech layoffs start actually being counted. These phony numbers will evaporate. And they still haven't solved sky high inflation. Shills are basically celebrating losing 6 figure tech jobs for low paying retail and construction jobs.
Jobs report shows increase of 517,000 in January, crushing estimates, as unemployment rate hit 53-year low
Nonfarm payrolls were expected to increase by 187,000 in January, according to Dow Jones estimates.www.cnbc.com
Leisure and hospitality added 128,000 jobs to lead all sectors. Other significant gainers were professional and business services (82,000), government (74,000) and health care (58,000). Retail was up 30,000 and construction added 25,000.
Construction, leisure and hospitality are going to keep hiring for the next several months.
Tech jobs are in high demand( people might have to move or take pay cuts).
