brehs, lets be honest tho. outside of the Batman world, DC fukkin SUCKS

-they cant do movies right
-they cant do video games right (lol at DC hero games being re-skinned Mortal Kombat games :gag:)
-their flagship characters are overpowered to shyt and/or fight villains no one knows or cares about

Marvel >>> DC x100000000

if Batman were on Marvel, DC would be Image Comics status or some other rarely known comic book company

I could see them doing this if Nolan was committed to doing 3 more Batman movies but since Nolan is done with the character there is no good reason to have multiple Batmen on film. The formula aint hard and DC/WB needs to stop overthinking this shyt and just create a unified movie universe like Marvel did.

That shyt couldn't even be done if Nolan was on board.

I like Nolan's batman films but he was TOO concerned with grounding it in reality. They had to fight that dude just to get him to include a grappling hook in the first film. :beli:

So no way in hell would I be interested in seeing his take on Superman, Wonder Woman, or Green Lantern...fukk that.

they should just let joseph gordon-levitt be batman, the end of the movie was hinting at that anyways. at least then it would tie in...

The obvious move should be to let JGL play Batman in the JLA and Batman reboot. If DC was on their game the would have had JGL make a cameo in Man of Steel somehow. The Avengers really flipped the script on the comic book movie game. Marvel is moving into phase two, DC can't even get their blueprint together.

And?

David Goyer wrote the film and Zach Snyder is directing it. If that shyt flops nobody is going to say "That Movie Nolan produced sucked". By most accounts Nolan hasn't even been very hands on with the film.

THIS!!!

The Batman in the Nolan films is a joke if you compare him to the Batman in the DCAU/Timmverse or in any of Direct to Blu-ray/DVD animated films.

I was thinking the same thing...it removes the need to have to set up an entirely new Batman and the timeline could be that Bruce Wayne/Batman was the first superhero in the DC movie universe and a couple years into the Blake/Batman's career all these super=powered people have started popping up. It leaves the realistic Nolan universe in tact, saves time and energy of having to create a new Batman franchise from scratch, while at the same time bringing the rest of the characters in as part of the changing movie universe.
And if the feeling ever moves everyone involved it opens up having Bale come back as Batman down the line.

JL movie wouldn't need to involve Nolan's Batman universe.

They're starting fresh. They're free to take on whatever tone they want.
