You know cats will NEVER give him credit when he's a white and an extension of Bron. Pretty much the two biggest evils on this board. But they like their white daddies if they coached in the 70s, 80s and 90s. And they like their white daddies who coached their favorites players growing up.

Will re-up this thread in 2 months when the Lakers are fighting for the 7-8th seed in the conference.

Currently 8th

Interesting season so far. They have been smoking the under .500 teams. 16-6 against sub .500 teams. 12-13 against teams over .500.

Rockets finally came down to earth. Lakers still need a big man. Will Lakers keep top 4 status?
:patrice:
I said in another thread, the west is up for grabs. OKC still has to prove themselves in the playoffs. 3 point shooting could bite them again. Memphis has to prove themselves as well. Wells is a rookie, will JJJ shrink, will Ja be available, can they rebound? Rockets can’t score when it matters. You see it now during this six game losing streak. Minny is coming around. I don’t know if they fixed their Conley problem and the Italian been hurt during this run. Clips have been struggling. Harden’s playoffs have been weak. Will Powell be able to do it in the playoffs during a seven game series. Dallas has to come together and AD has to be available. Nuggets are still weak when Jokic is out the game. Westbrook has to give them something in the playoffs. The kids can’t shrink, but Murray and MPJ are looking good.

All in all, it will be match ups. Every series in the West will be great series with PHX and GS rounding out the 6-8 seed. They will still have a shot at slaying the top because of experience.

I’m not saying the Lakers will make the finals. I am saying I wouldn’t be surprised.

Not having a solid big in the West and some people talking championship :russ: Luka trade was incredible and when they get a big I believe it. But it ain’t happening this year.

Y’all fall for this every month. They only beat bad teams, tanking teams, tired teams or all 3. After the All-Star break it’ll be “wait until Luka gets healthy”, “they don’t have any bigs”, “Lebron and JJ need more help”
Didn't they beat Boston, New York, and LAC all recently?

And do you really count Jaxon Hayes as a quality big.

You just trying to save face with these lies because you posted this dumb shyt a month ago -
That goof ball @Gil Scott-Heroin was gassing JJ Redikk up after they beat a few bad teams and now he’s nowhere to be found
:lolbron:

The Lakers won't be winning a title this season, but it still doesn't take away from the fact they're on the right trajectory going forward after it looked like they were dead in the water. Nobody had the Lakers even remotely at this level before the season started, not just in terms of win percentage, but how they've been performing.
