No one ever questioned JJ redikks basketball IQ or ability to draw up plays. Most of it was JJ's personality being a fit in a locker room and the ability to lead.

Bron has okayed him ling ago and even did a very successful podcast to setup his hiring. No one is going to do that. And he played Bronny. He's a made man. Abd guess what dude has to full on head coaches onhis bench anyway(they are probably getting paid very well too).

I've said a few times on here, all he has to be is competent to be an improvement over Ham and Redikk is at least that. Sensible rotations and using timeouts alone is a massive difference.

I will never understand why so many in the media carried water for Ham. Dude is one of the worst coaches I've ever seen in any sport.

they seem to be on the same page so far. We gotta long season to go, but i'm optimistic. The rotation wasnt too questionable other than the forced Bronny shyt. I did catch myself saying "why is Gabe closing the game?" But before I could even get the words out he was being subbed. He's got experience with Nate McMillan and Scott Brooks on his coaching staff. I think the Lakers will be alright.
