The backing Mahal gets has nothing to do with how Sheamus may have been looked at. I wasn't on the coli then, but I would have been embarrassed to be a fan of Sheamus, especially with the pussified way he won the title. Sheamus has always been a good in-ring worker, but has never had an ounce of appeal outside of when he was had heat backstage somewhere around 2011-2012, and right NOW teaming with Cesaro. He's always been bland as shyt, but just happens to be good in the ring. You and @The G.O.D II can't possibly be these dense and bricked headed in real life. Whatever characters y'all are trying to portray, you're failing terribly.

It's the exact same thing. I remember the "SHEAM DA GAWD" stanning vividly. It's the exact same thing now. TSC posters love stanning these corny ass "superstars" for daps when they get a quick push, then leave em in the dust when it's over.

Dudes here did the same shyt with "DOLPH DAWG" when he got a quick lil title push... I know some of ya'll probably hoping those threads got buried somewhere. It's the same shyt all over again now with Jinder. :mjlol:

Smark outrage here is weird to me, hes always been at least competent in the ring.

He has a presence, for sure. He comes off as a star and is competent enough in the ring. The only problem with the whole thing might've been that it was in Chicago. The fans were mostly surprised or happy rather than the 80s Iron Sheik heat they wanted. If they did that in Oklahoma it would've come off as a home run.

Either that, or this gimmick is too old school and they have to tweak it a bit.

– Anyone who’s spent any amount of time on Wikipedia probably won’t be surprised by this, but Jinder Mahal’s Wikipedia page was heavily vandalized following his win over Randy Orton to capture the WWE Championship at Backlash. In the hour and forty five minutes (as of this writing) since the match ended, the Wikipedia page has been edited 105 times. That includes legitimate editors reverting vandalism.

Among the vandalism edits (which have all been reverted) were:

–– ADVERTISEMENT ––

* “He announced he is gay and in parternership with jerry lawler”
* Name changed to “Frank the Clown,” “Juan Carlos,” Jinder Expensive”
* “The Juice” and “Juiced Up” added to Nicknames
* Heritage listed as “Mexican American”
* He was listed as a member of the WWE Divas division
* Various racist comments
* Bio changed to “Your WWE Champion and the Emperor of Earth. Jinder will no longer be hindered.”
* Bio separately appended with “he also takes steroids but WWE seems not to care.”
:umad::umad::umad: bask in it :ahh:

Cut good promos and have people invested in him enough to boo him out the building

You know the hive mindset and dikk riding this sub forum has devolved into the past couple of years just need to stop. Just because people have different opinions, question things, etc doesn't mean they are "playing characters" You see good promos and being over. I see generic cheap heat that isn't working because it's not the 80s and mild reactions. Hell he was getting cheered last night because Orton is so trash. But fukk out of here getting upset because questions are being raised

Naka needs to start giving a shyt though. I always called him out on his inconstency as a performer but he's on the main roster now, he gotta put the effort and show he's legit one of the best in the world when he wants to be :ufdup: :purogang:
I've had no problem with his performances thus far. I think he's gonna cook with this SD roster

On a side note they really need to stop showing the audience reactions so often.
Of all the shyt they've done, this is slowly becoming my most hated part of watching the show. Imagine if other sports cut to fans in the nosebleeds mildly reacting while action is sill going on on the court or field.

fukk is yo dumb ass talking about bro. :mjlol: This thread is about Jinder Mahal as champ. Why you pulling out all these random ass talking points to argue against that nobody is even bringing up.

For the record, I'm as anti Indy flippy shyt as anyone, but that doesn't mean I'm just gonna latch onto the next muscled up wrestler that comes along. Y'all trying too hard. This dude seems passable because this era is so weak but he would be a scrub in any era.
LOL. Now you wanna play stupid. I said simple foreigner heels work in wrestling all the time. Yall tried to use Rusev which actually proved my point. The difference being a couple years ago instead of pulling the trigger on Rusev and letting him get a title run they killed it off with Cena. This time, Mahal was on the same basic foreigner heel shyt and they pulled the trigger on him. And the point I'm making is dudes like Punk and KO have been given all kinds of opportunities to light up the ratings and nothing happens, but yall wanna say Jinder is some kind of problem. :dead:. THIS Jinder Mahal is basically a brand new character with goons and a nickname and new aggressive heel mentality and new look. This rebranding of a character shyt happens all the time. This time they just sped it up. Tell us how Cesaro who couldn't get over with Heyman is going to magically light up the ratings :bryan:. We can just disagree on this.

I'm happy for Jinder and as a fan this is very new.

I've been very underwhelmed by him after the Zayn match. He hasn't done much on SD to really make a judgment, but his performance yesterday was classic "coasting Nakamura" :manny:

Marks need tk realize its all about money.

Hogan, Cena, whoever...they were all champs bc it brought money. Jinder can bring in money and recognition on a bigger platform than another white champ.

And that's why he's champ for now.
