25 fukking writers wasting their career to write a show for a 80 year old bag of bones instead of a national audience cute stuff. The source of the problem.

The fact that they're all trying to please Vince is a creative problem in itself since hat stifles their creativity in the first place, to be honest. In my opinion, guys and girls who have been on the main roster for 5 or more years should just be given bullet points. If they're not in tune with their character's motivations by then, then they need to

As insightful as the interview was, the bolded is all I took away from it. I don't doubt that the job is hard in general. But one of the main reasons why is that the primary goal isn't to write something that's good, but to write something that Vince will think is good.
"What matches haven't been done?"...is he serious? There are people that are literally just never on TV for no reason. Use the whole damn roster. How does NXT get so much shyt right but the main roster fails this bad. NXT had Otis have a random match with Ciampa. It was entertaining and fresh. Elevated Otis and put over Ciampa. I see they are maybe trying to do stuff like this with DB with Ali. But this whole what matches haven't been done shyt is a joke.

To the breh's point … NXT is a one-hour show. Done episodes in advance. Less content to fill, and not a place where Vince appears to have significant input.

And the first 40 minutes or so are usually squashes. Don't get me wrong Takeovers are always dope but I get bored quickly of NXT weekly TV.
People would revolt if WWE put out 5 hours of squashes every week.

Why do they have 25 writers questioning everything yet they still can't make story lines that make sense? They couldn't even figure out what was Dean's latest motivation until it was too late and nobody really cared. It's just a bunch of writers coming up with ideas and Vince counter booking it with random dumb shyt on the same day because he thinks that story lines don't matter and all the fans don't care either way.

But real talk, Im a creative writer myself. All of this shyt sounds frustarting and damaging to ones creative skills. At the end of the day theyre not writing creatively but for Vince.
Jacobs says it himself and it shows through the product. Im sure AOP Pee was all for Vince and he had a real knee slapper for that.
Creative writing, 25 people or 3, is not something that can be accomplished out of thin air, on a weekly basis at that. So them actually finding unique ideas, coming out with a rough draft, and giving it to Vince just to write it off and give us some bullshyt has to be frustrating and insulting to the writers who sit around spending hours thinking hard for a good product.
I know jimmy jacobs is keeping it PC when saying, if you give Vince the bad credit then u have to give him the good credit. Like the nikka got a batting average of 167. Like we supposed to praise Vince to the moon for AJ, Daniel, and Becky?

They need to change how they do things with the writing process instead of relying on a 75 year old to entertain an entire generation he doesnt understand.
