Heat's success is much more of a collective team effort with Jimmy being the head of the snake. LeBron was dropping 35/10/10 literally every game just to stay competitive. Only Jimmy's round 1 performance(which was fake) is comparable and LeBron was playing like that the whole postseason. He didn't have the luxury of guys like Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent playing way above their heads and even outplaying him and the opposing teams stars.

Is it really that impressive when he's only been dominant in one out of three series'?

:yeshrug:

He's had some downright terrible performances after the first round. You could argue they've been half good and half bad.

Jimmy was fantastic despite being injured against the Knicks, you can’t look at a box score and see how great he was. They were doubling and tripling him the entire series yet he was making all the right reads on offense, we just weren’t shooting great.

He was also playing really strong defense and quarter backing as our main playmaker. His only truly bad games this post season were games 4 and 5 of the ECF. He was mostly awful in G6 but he went crazy in the 4th quarter so I count that as average.

Would you say Curry wasn’t dominant last year because his numbers in the 2nd and 3rd round weren’t as “dominant” as his first series?

idk if you're possessed if you need 7 games to beat a team that has victor oladipo as the best player. :francis:
He was an underdog in all the series everyone had Cavs losing each series …

Who even was his second best player ?

Jimmy is a super guy and I’m a big fan and defended his position as being a # 1 in championship team.

But *Bron ain’t have no Caleb Martin, gabe or Duncan etc…

* his style of ball and coaching wouldn’t allow players to shine that way anyways.

Meh. And just like LeBron….if he dont win it all nobody will give a shyt

:stopitslime:

Lebron haters can’t put the genie back in the bottle now. You thinkin even if he lose it’s ‘man, Jimmy has overachieved and taken this heat team so far!’ Negative. The culture YOU have fostered will just remember it for Giannis losing, Boston losing, and ‘damn, Jimmy can’t win the big one. 0-2 in the finals’

Same energy. We not doin moral victories. If they lose Idgaf about this ‘run’, he choked and he lacks the clutch gene
:unimpressed:
