Covington definitely going to be in full "fukk it" mode if he already wasn't, he shooting every time he touch the ball now.

Someone need to fukk Thibs up if it's just Covington and Saric.

Durant plays Toronto? Steph Curry? Bron?

The fact that Toronto has Kawhi doesn't mean they're the best TEAM in the East. The Raptors have to prove that they're playoff tested as are. The Celtics, on the other hand, are the deepest team in the East. Early season games aside, Boston has too many scorers, shooters and has too elite a defense for Toronto if they were to meet in the ECF. And while Kawhi is a beast and NBA champ, there are too many question mark's around his supporting cast which looks good so far this season but are still not playoffs-tested. Cs are still the team to beat in the East.

Benefits both teams.

Rule of thumb for trades like these: the team who acquires the best player in the trade, especially if that player is all-star/superstar calibre always wins the trade. Philly, assuming the pieces come together correctly, have won this trade and put themselves in tier 1 Eastern contention with Raps and Celts (Bucks still pending IMO).

Meanwhile, T-Wolves removed a locker room distraction. KAT may go back to his old ways...that's the ultimate key. If he peforms back like he did first couple of years, they're good money. They'll be deep as well with Saric and Cov and whoever else they land. Wiggins might find a new lease on life. D Rose playing well etc. They were never going anywhere with the Butler-KAT-Wiggins core so this can only help them, especially longer-term.
