Jimbo need to be kicking himself for 2012 that team was just as stacked as 13 maybe even more stacked blew 16-0 lead at NC State and blew 7 point lead to Florida fukking Devonta Freeman was 3rd string for half of the season at RB. fukking 2nd string defense was looking all American status.
And it is factual that he never told his players he was leaving. In fact, a lot of players tried to press him on the subject yesterday but he wouldn't budge.
On the coaching search, there's a lot of traction at FSU and it's strong towards Willie Taggart. As we reported a few days ago Odell Haggins will stay on to coach defensive tackles under Taggart. Also, Mario Cristobal will coach the offensive line and Ron Duggans (at Miami) will return to Tallahassee to coach the wide receivers. I haven't confirmed it, but it seems likely that Jim Leavitt will follow Taggart to FSU and become the new defensive coordinator.
Florida State is really hoping to move fast on this. Discussing the head coach vacancy is one of the main purposes of the 3 p.m. phone conference today. I know there's a rumor about an offer already being extended to Taggart, or one coming, but that's simply premature to report especially prior to this meeting.

Strong's OC as USF (& last year at Texas) runs the same offense that Art Briles ran at Baylor & Dino Babers runs at Syracuse. If Strong gets hired at FSU, he's definitely bringing his OC & O-Line coach with him. So don't have to worry about offense if Stong is hired.

Jimbo checked out right after the Bama game he apparently asked his agent about a&m after they choked vs UCLA the next night. If u follow FSU close you can see this shyt was done that night in the ATL the NC State game confirmed it. @Lucky_Lefty saw it first hand at the wake game.
