Man this is what I don't get, he ain't ever recruited well in Texas, the FSU name and his coaches did, but he really thinks aggie gonna get the big cruits?
They struggle to pull 4* players to begin with.
Yeah really interested in seeing how this shyt works out. Mike Sherman did a pretty nice job and low key supplied overrated Sumlin with plenty of great talent when he arrived. Gonna be interested in seeing how Jimbo recruits in a state like Texas and if he makes changes to his scheme.

north texas is Oklahoma, LSU and now TCU area
Texas will grab the rest of the state and then he can probably grabbed maybe 2 outstanding recruits
Jimbo would probably recruit a lil better
Sumlin was a great Texas recruiter and his classes were inflated by being top heavy and pulling guys like Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray who were high level 5* recruits.
Jimbo doesn't have nearly the amount of ties in Texas as Sumlin did. Even if he gets guys who can recruit the state, he'll still hover around top-20 classes. Because that's what A&M is. You can only sell the program so much. Especially after year 1 and 2 when it'll be obvious that things aren't magically improved there despite getting Jimbo.

Oregon because of Nike, has a ceiling that can match anyone BUT you have to recruit nationally which is a grind

Jimbo will recruit his ass off much better than Sumlin not understanding all this Sumlin love he got gifted Manziel and Evans from Mike Sherman who had 3 top 10 OL on deck when Sumlin arrived no wonder his first 2 seasons we're the best offenses A&M produced.

Jimbo is a recruiter and a closer for sure even these past few seasons. The cupboard is definitely not bare in Tallahassee we probably gonna lose at least 5 guys to the NFL draft off the defense what really makes these past few seasons so frustrating just wasted talent and not putting them in right position but we still have plenty of talent on the come up especially on the DL and I think we got some potential at LB just haven't been giving the opportunity. We deep at RB and hopefully we can get this OL shyt figured out FSU can easily be back in the top 10 next season especially just wanna see if Taggert is the actual guy.
