2K dun told yall blatantly they will continue to fukk nikkas in the ass, and nobody gon do shyt about it...and people STILL playing daily and buying VC daily...
Its a lost cause
You guys are just spoiled. There are some cases that can't be defended such as 2K and their blatant attempt to get people to grind their life away in one of their most popular modes.
BUT
On average if you were to break down how many hours you get from a typical $60 game - video games tend to win based on value. People spend $30-$60 easy on a movie night and its all over in a few hours. Same goes for gambling at a casino etc.
Yea how many times is this topic going to be made? We get it the gaming industry sucks and is going to hell.

I get the point.Clearly we don't get it. There are still plenty of people who will defend these BS practices.
Like this... you are missing the point. Many people end up spending much more than that $60 initial buy in when you add in DLC, loot boxes and all the other shyt mentioned earlier. Add to the fact that they work their employees ragged and often release unfinished products, it's easy to see why people are disgusted by major gaming corporations.
It's not a matter of being "spoiled"... Forgive me if this sounds too dramatic, but there's actual harm being done so shareholders can keep making hundreds of millions of dollars and consumers can escape reality for a few hours a day.
Casinos are regulated and there are organizations who provide assistance to people with addictions to gambling. Video games aren't analogous in that way, but some of these companies have recently employed the same tactics to bring out compulsive spending behavior.
