He also mentioned in the interview that he has to start from scratch because WWE doesn’t have credits like most TV shows so people in the music and TV industry don’t know him. You’d think Vince would at least give him a recommendation.
all this bullshyt they do to get into Hollywood and try to get mainstream attention and they don't have this :snoop:

I think some of the current themes are good, but I agree alot of them are aso really generic. Take Seth Rollins. Dude is a main event level cat, but you could give his theme to anyone on the roster. There's nothing about it that you could specifically associate with Seth. Which, if you look at past main eventers and their themes, should be criminal. Rock, Austin, Taker, Jericho, Angle. All have themes that speak to exactly who their characters are as people.
And I liked how he kept the same melody for wrestlers their whole career but reworked it for their character. Like every single one of Rock's themes can be traced back to his second Rocky maivia theme for example:

Then he mixed it with the Nation theme to get this:

And a song was born. It becomes clearer with the Hollywood Rock theme:

If I were a well known enough rapper, I'd go into the studio with dude and crank out an entire album. Have that mug going all sorts of direction musically...yet still be catchy. Accolades and awards later, he'll end up being the next super producer, or Scott Storch or some shyt
i don't know about that that i see him as a Bruce Faulconer type of person.
John Johnston can do hip hop / rap for sure. he should be reserved for the veterans only as he needs no introduction to that world.
i would vote for that DMX collabo
