what evidence are those videos in him being racist? a lot of people felt that way after 9/11 mostly out of ignorance and the way things were being portrayed in the media

Nobody was going on live tv saying to kill their civilians outside of the worst of right wingers. They did rally around the flag but most people would react like Cena did in the video if the speaker went as far as Cornette did.

but, as i said earlier in the thread, i don't believe the shyt about using his position to coerce people, it doesn't make sense in the context of him as a person or the extent of his control over OVW, i completely expect cacs to be deviants, and it doesn't affect me listening to his wrestling podcasts

Cornette was part-owner of the fukking promotion from 1999 until 2007, 2 years AFTER WWE fired him for slapping Santino. And even if he did have heat (which I believe was true), WWE really didn't interfere much with his booking of the promotion, so it's a moot point either way (also, HE WAS PART-OWNER OF OVW. The only person who was going to tell him what to do there that he would have to listen to was Nightmare Danny Davis). He may not have been powerful in the WWE hierarchy, but he was at worst the second most powerful man in OVW itself with a bunch of know-nothing trainees at their disposal. And besides, how often have we heard stories about WWE developmental that clearly demonstrate how little attention they paid to it before Hunter took control of everything (read up on Deep South Wrestling for a paramount example of this)?

Why do people say easily refutable things like this?

Also, that 9-11 clip is disgusting. Cena looks so embarrassed and uncomfortable to be a part of that.

Even when he was fired, he's still part-owner of OVW. They can remove him from his WWE-mandated position, but they couldn't force him to sell his stake.

That's the one thing that has me doubt this stuff. I know there's been some hints over the years that he's into freaky shyt, but you think someone would've exposed him by now if wrestlers were getting strong armed by him.

I dunno though...he first goes from denying the allegations by saying the accuser fukked up by using his wife's current FB profile, to then on some "Oh she was just drunk when she wrote that shyt", seems real suspect to me.

looking back (now) and watching that video looks bad
