This is just an excuse to shyt on Adam Sandler

Jim Carrey had the best run of a comedic actor since Eddie Murphy. Carrey is also a much better dramatic actor than Sandler (though Sandler is underrated in that regard).

Adam Sandler has made films that haven't aged well in addition to making some of the most hated and reviled comedies of the past two decades. Even the worst shyt by Jim Carrey is still watchable, shyt I watched "Once Bitten" last week.

Gotta disagree with you here, I think Adam Sandler is a really good serious actor. He was good in Reign Over Me, Funny People, and Punch Drunk Love.

Carey is obviously a superior talent, but Sandler didnt suck. But I do agree that he isnt very funny.

Those "serious" roles are overrated. He just wasn't being Sandler so people thought he could act. Didnt buy it.

Jim needs a Tarantino stimulus package or a movie similar to Birdman that revitalizes his movie career a la Michael Keaton, I know he has the talent to do it.
