She goes hard. Her Green New Deal has some real substantial ideas for progress.

She's got my vote.

I actually like Jill Stein, but cant really stomach her economic policies. She definitely is a better candidate than Obama or Romney.

GARY JOHNSON 2012 for me though.
The Green New Deal is the part of the video I was most skeptical about. I support it in theory because we need a new energy plan and I included it in my little plan to fix the American economy the other day...http://www.the-coli.com/1747384-post55.html

But we should tread carefully in how we implement it. It definitely has to be big...a lot of heavy infrastructure spending and R&D spending and we have to subsidize alternative energy like we're doing now. We'd have to create charging stations for cars all over the country and coerce the auto industry to get on board.

But liberals have to start being realistic about the fact that this stuff is not economical. The cost to create wind turbines or solar panels is lot more expensive and less efficient into terms of energy output than burning oil or coal. That's why you don't see much progress coming out of Obama's green job initiatives. You have to price out the cheap, dirty shyt or else the market will ride with it until the oil fields of Saudi Arabia and everywhere else are bone dry.

We've gotta be honest and say that a serious, robust energy plan that moves away from fossil fuels is going to cost a lot of money, and mean higher taxes, and more and stronger government intervention and regulation of industry. I think it is worth, but it has to be done big, done right, and it we will have to pay more out of our pockets for the time being.
