Negativity begets negativity. That's not hard to understand. If he spent more time empowering young black men instead of attacking certain segments of black women, then maybe I would consider him a POSITIVE male role model but as of right now, he's a baby daddy who's been arrested for failure to pay child support and he's says nothing beneficial to anyone.


I would say the same about a black woman who spent more time attacking deadbeat dads and thugs then trying to encourage young women to make better decisions.

But Fact of the matter is just like it takes a man and a woman to create a child it takes a man and a woman to raise one properly. If one is missing in the picture either the mom or dad you find the next possible replacement of that sex to teach them the traits, discipline, and morals you would like to instill in them. A man cant teach a girl how to be a woman the same way a woman cant teach a boy how to be a man. I dont know what jill scott says but this is my OPINION.

I saw a lot of women confide in each other and stick together. I see the same thing happening with men who follow Tommy. Tommy made it okay for us brothers to admit that we've been hurt a good chunk men who follow tommy are chasing success and they know what types of women to avoid.
