Cinemax is moving out of the original scripted series business and is only to air TV series they were previously committed to. Which means JETT won't be back for a Season 2 . Carla Gugino says they are trying to move the series to a different platform, but that rarely happens .

I really don't know why they aren't migrating the Cinemax series over to HBO Max as the new streaming service could use some quality programming and it would expose those shows to a bigger audience.
