He’s better than Zach and his teammates didn’t hate him. More importantly, he actually gave a fukk. Zach does not care and is wasting prime talents best years on both sides of the ball.

Sitting a rookie QB for three years is a terrible thing unless you have a ton of salary cap available.
OK, so you sit him three years and not taking advantage of rookie contract.
Then fourth year you play him and then what ? Unless he's clearly great and dominating you have a big dilemma about fifth year option and if hes good you have to extend him giving him a huge contract...off just one year. Plenty of QBs had a hot first year and then fell off.
Most teams cannot afford to wait three years to start their franchise QB.
